God Is With Us in the Storm
Have you ever been caught in a storm? Maybe you were outside when it started raining hard, the wind blew fast, and thunder made loud booms. Storms can be scary! In today’s Bible story, the apostle Paul was in a HUGE storm on a ship with many other people. The waves crashed against the boat, and everyone was afraid. But Paul wasn’t scared. Why? Because God had promised to be with him and take care of everyone on the ship. Even though the ship broke into pieces, not one person was lost—just like God said!
Sometimes, life feels like a storm. Things don’t go the way we expect. We feel scared, sad, or stuck. But just like God was with Paul, God is with us too. He’s always working, even when we can’t see it. Today, we’ll learn that God is in control, and His plan always wins—even in the middle of the storm.
Acts 27:23–24 (NIV)
“Last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.’”

Dear God, Thank You for always being with us—even when things feel scary or confusing. Help us to trust You like Paul did.
