Putting on Our Blue Suits

Imagine you have a special superhero suit that makes you a part of a superhero team. When you wear this suit, you become a hero who helps others, speaks the truth, and spreads kindness wherever you go. God's family is a bit like that superhero team, and when we trust in Jesus, it's like we’re putting on a special suit called a "blue suit." This suit represents living a new life that shines with Jesus’ love. In today's story, we’ll learn about how wearing our "blue suits" transforms our actions and how we treat others. Just like superheroes have special powers and responsibilities, we can use the love and strength Jesus gives us to be kind, speak honestly, and help others. Let’s dive in and learn how to wear our blue suits every day to show others what Jesus is like!

Ephesians 4:25, 32 (NIV)
"Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body... Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

Discussion Questions
What do you think it means to tell the truth and be truthful like a superhero?
How can we show kindness and love to our family and friends, especially when it’s hard?
Why is forgiving others important, and how does it help us be more like Jesus?

Activity
Create your own "Blue Suit of Kindness" with the family! Gather some paper, crayons, or markers. Draw a superhero suit and write or draw pictures inside each part of the suit about how you can be kind, honest, and forgiving. Maybe it’s helping a friend, saying sorry, or sharing with someone in need. When you finish, hang it somewhere in your home as a reminder to wear your "blue suit" every day and let your actions reflect Jesus’ love!

Prayer
Dear Jesus, thank You for giving us a new life like a superhero with our special blue suits. Help us to be kind, truthful, and forgiving to everyone around us. Guide our hearts so we can show others Your love and make the world a better place. Amen.
